About the role
The Role
Based in our Glasgow Head Office an excellent opportunity has arisen in our IT Department for an Azure Infrastructure Engineer to be responsible for growing managing and optimising cloud infrastructure while ensuring its security and performance. The role holder will collaborate with the team to optimise systems transitioning to Azure and will be part of the team responsible for the design and implementation of the cloud infrastructure. They will manage monitor and secure GAPs cloud infrastructure ensuring the protection of company data.
About You
Successful applicants should demonstrate the following:
A minimum of 3 years experience working with an Azure Infrastructure role
Proven knowledge of Azure AD AWS Powershell Infrastructure-as-a-Service (laas) and Software-as-a-service (Saas).
Experience of Azure Networking (Virtual LAN Garetways ipsec VPn expressroute to mpls) Azure Network Policies Azure migration planning storage and backup Azure Ops Security and Architecture.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to remain calm during busy periods and meet tight deadlines
Meticulous attention to detail
Excellent communication skills.
