Job Summary
Maintenance Intern
Location: Ontario California
New-Indy Ontario LLC is currently seeking applicants for the position of Maintenance Intern. Individual must be in the process of pursuing degree in mechanical engineering.
- Assist in design and development of projects
- Assist with experiments and analyze data and interpret results
- Assist in identifying and producing effective solutions to emerging problems
- Alter and modify design to meet requirements
- Special projects as assigned
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be in the process of pursuing a Mechanical Engineer Degree
- Developmental: Strong technical background desired
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Developmental: Knowledge of processes wet end chemistry paper testing procedures and Root Failure Cause analysis (RFCA) related to quality or process failures
- Participate with all departments in continuous improvement of the mill.
- To perform this job successfully an individual should also be able to navigate through various software platforms.
- Ability to be part of a multi-functional/multi-skill organization
Pay Transparency: The starting hourly rate for this opportunity is $23.00 per hour. Please note the compensation information is a good faith estimate for this position and assumes a rate based on location and experience.
