American Workforce Group has partnered with a premier aerospace fabrication facility in Tacoma WA looking for a dual-threat CNC Programmer and Machinist. This is a high-level role for a professional who thrives on the complexity of aerospace components and high-tolerance manufacturing.

What Youll Do as a CNC Programmer/Machinist:
- Precision Programming: Develop edit and optimize CNC programs utilizing Mastercam and Surfcam.
- Multiaxis Milling: Set up program and operate 3-axis 4-axis and 5-axis CNC mills.
- Lathe Operations: Set up and operate CNC lathes (experience with live tooling is a major plus!).
- Technical Interpretation: Masterfully interpret complex engineering drawings blueprints and GD&T standards.
- Strategy & Setup: Independently select appropriate tooling speeds feeds and workholding for diverse materials.
Details for CNC Programmer:
- Pay Rate:$28.00 $40.00/hour (DOE)
- Schedule: Monday Friday
- Shift Hours: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM (Opportunities for Overtime available!)
Requirements:
- Coding Proficiency: Fully understand and apply M & G code programming.
- Software Mastery: Proven experience with Mastercam or Surfcam programming software.
- Aerospace Fluency: Expert ability to read and interpret complex aerospace blueprints and GD&T.
- Independence: Ability to develop complete programs from scratch including toolpath strategy.
