Practice Setting: Outpatient Interventional Pain Management

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and clinically focused Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician AssistantCertified (PA-C) to join our outpatient interventional pain management practice. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced physicians in a structured supportive environment while providing comprehensive care to patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive pain-focused evaluations including medical history physical examination and functional assessments

  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pain conditions

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

  • Order and interpret imaging and laboratory studies

  • Prescribe medications in accordance with state regulations and clinical guidelines

  • Conduct pre-procedure and post-procedure evaluations

  • Educate patients regarding diagnoses procedures and treatment plans

  • Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record

  • Collaborate with physicians nurses and medical assistants to coordinate care

  • Participate in clinical meetings and quality initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program

  • Current national certification (NP or PA-C)

  • Active or eligible for state licensure

  • Basic Life Support certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred)

  • Proficiency with electronic medical records

Pain management orthopedic spine or musculoskeletal experience is preferred but not required. We will train the right candidate.
