What Youll Do

As a Temperature Metrologist you will support the Temperature Laboratory by:

  • Performing calibration activities on new production units and customerreturned instruments
  • Maintaining traceability of laboratory equipment through inhouse or external calibration services
  • Working in alignment with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 quality standards and promoting a culture of accuracy and compliance
  • Collaborating with experienced metrologists and technicians to learn calibration techniques and best practices
  • Applying problemsolving and data analysis skills to improve measurement processes
  • Contributing to the development and maintenance of calibration methods measurement uncertainty analyses and standard work
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the laboratory
  • Over time partnering with design engineering teams on new product introductions and system enhancements

What You Bring

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Physics or a related technical field
  • Prior experience with thermodynamics concepts
  • At least two years of calibration experience supporting ISO/IEC 17025 accredited processes
  • Strong attention to detail commitment to quality and customerfocused mindset
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills; able to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Selfmotivation problemsolving ability and a drive to learn and grow

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with measurement uncertainty concepts
  • Proficiency in programming (e.g. Python MATLAB LabVIEW)
  • Technical writing experience related to procedures reports or documentation
