JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a DevOps Team Lead to lead our DevOps team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in AWS Cloud and DevOps practices with a strong ability to mentor and manage a team. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth operations across cloud infrastructure CI/CD pipelines and application deployment for our Microservices-based VDR platform.

Location: Chennai India

Working hours: 10:30 AM IST to 7:30 PM IST

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead the DevOps team providing mentorship and managing day-to-day tasks.

Architect build and maintain secure scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS.

Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance in a microservices architecture.

Design manage and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab Jenkins and other tools.

Drive the automation of infrastructure as code using Terraform and similar tools.

Oversee application performance monitoring troubleshooting and support ensuring high availability across environments.

Continuously improve deployment processes ensuring seamless release management.

Implement cost optimization strategies for AWS infrastructure.

Foster collaboration between DevOps development and QA teams

Job requirements

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Expertise in AWS services: Networking Security Compute Containers and Databases.

Extensive experience with AWS EKS Fargate and cloud-native services.

Mastery in CI/CD tools: GitLab Jenkins and Git.

Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).

Experience with microservices architecture.

SOFT SKILLS:

Proven leadership experience in managing DevOps teams.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues under pressure.

Eagerness to stay updated with emerging technologies in cloud and DevOps.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT or related field.

Relevant certifications (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
