Job Summary
Brattleboro Memorial Hospital a not-for-profit community hospital serving southeastern Vermont and surrounding areas of New Hampshire and Massachusetts is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff MD in Oncology. This part-time opportunity allows you to join a collaborative multidisciplinary team and provide personalized patient-centered cancer care in an outpatient clinic setting. You will have the chance to impact the lives of patients and families participate in clinical trials and stay at the forefront of oncology advancements while enjoying a supportive and professional work Description:Diagnose and stage various cancers through thorough clinical assessments imaging and laboratory personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient incorporating chemotherapy radiation immunotherapy and targeted and manage patient progress adjusting treatment protocols as treatment-related side effects and provide supportive care to enhance patient quality of patients and their families about their diagnosis treatment options and potential emotional support and counseling to patients and families throughout the cancer with surgeons radiologists certified oncology nurses nurse practitioners and oncology navigators to ensure coordinated multidisciplinary in clinical trials research initiatives and quality improvement projects to advance oncology current on clinical guidelines treatment breakthroughs and evidence-based practices in and provide guidance to other healthcare staff in oncology-related to patient care planning and department initiatives to improve overall outcomes and open to candidates who commute more than 1 hourNot accepting visa candidatesNot open to LOCUM or LOCUM to PERM candidatesNot open to candidates who plan to work this job in conjunction with another positionCompensation and Benefits: Competitive salary: $250000 $350000 annually based on experience education and market competitivenessPart-time schedule (24 hours/week) ideal for work-life balanceCollaborative multidisciplinary team environment with strong physician supportOpportunities for professional growth academic involvement and leadershipParticipation in clinical trials and exposure to advanced treatment modalitiesMeaningful impact serving a rural community across Vermont New Hampshire and MassachusettsCertification RequirementsBoard CertifiedBoard EligibleState License RequirementsVermontAdditional License RequirementsClean malpractice and license history copy of most recent NPDB report Copy of most recent NPDB report At-will employment; either party may terminate employment at any time
