Asset Inspector/Labourers support the safe and efficient operation of Albertas transportation network including:
General Highway Maintenance Duties
- Asset inspection and data gathering using the ArcGIS system
- Culvert inspection and cleaning
- System testing and feedback to support highway operations and digital asset management
- Road patrols and debris removal
- Assisting with traffic control procedures
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Other road maintenance tasks as required
Qualifications
- Experience with ArcGIS or similar mapping systems
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License
- Ability to provide a 3year drivers abstract
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
- Physically able to perform demanding outdoor tasks
Work Conditions
- Applicants that are local may be given preference due to the location of the work (No Camp or LOA provided)
- As LHL is obligated to respond to various weather patterns some shift work on-call and night shift will be required
- Will be provided a pay rate of $21/hr -$24/hr based on experience
- Night shift premium $3/hr
