Job Summary

HiFyve has a client in Columbia MO is that is hiring for an Automation Technician.

Salary: $36-$45/hour

Night Shift: 2-2-3 schedule

This position is responsible for ensuring proper maintenance and repairs of all automated plant equipment in a food and beverage production facility.

Responsibilities

Utilize knowledge of PLC to develop maintain and improve facility PLC systems.
Diagnose and repair computerized control systems in a food and beverage production environment
Assist other team members in performing mechanical repairs related to automation.
Performs tests and maintenance on mechanical electrical and instrumentation equipment
Interpret readings and outputs of equipment to ensure proper functioning of equipment and related systems
Collaborate closely with maintenance and production teams to ensure seamless operation and maintenance of automated equipment minimize downtime and optimizing performance.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent.
3 years of education and/or experience supporting industrial networking
3 years of education and/or experience supporting Rockwell Automation Mitsubishi PLCs and VFDs
3 years of education and/or experience programming or altering programs in PLCs HMI VFDs and Rockwell Automation programs
3 years of education and/or experience installing and calibrating industrial sensors meters and measuring instruments for level temperature pH and flow.
Good communication skills with a strong work ethic and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
Advanced certification or training in PLC programming and automation technologies preferred
CAD Experience preferred
