Within Real Estate Finance NL (REF NL) we support professional real estate investors through a strong regional presence (SouthWest SouthEast NorthWest and NorthEast) and a centrally organised delivery organisation in Amsterdam.

REF NL is widely recognised as the principal Dutch real estate lender with deep market expertise and a strong reputation across the real estate investor ecosystem. To further professionalise and futureproof our product landscape we are looking for a Product Lead Real Estate Finance who combines strong product leadership with experience in complex IT environments and regulated financial domains.

This role plays a key part in Boosting Agile at ING: moving from deliveryfocused execution to true product thinking strong alignment and clear ownership of digital products as longlived assets.

The team

You will be part of the leadership team of BBNL REF Delivery a centrally organised group of multidisciplinary teams in Amsterdam. These teams support the endtoend Real Estate Finance value chain including customer servicing risk processes reporting and finance.

You will operate at the heart of the leadership trinity where Product Teams work closely with IT Leads Architects and senior stakeholders across Business Risk Finance and Operations. Together you ensure that REFs digital products are reliable compliant scalable and valuable for both customers and colleagues.

Role

As Product Lead BBNL REF Core you are accountable for the product vision strategy and lifecycle of key REF digital products including platforms built on SAP S/4HANA and SAP BW NetWeaver.

You act as Asset Owner taking full responsibility for value continuity risk and compliance. You translate strategy into an actionable product vision and roadmap align stakeholders through OKRs and QBRs and guide teams to deliver meaningful Releases and Innovations that create measurable outcomes.

Your key responsibilities

• Own and evolve the product vision and strategy for Real Estate Finance digital products aligned with ING and REF domain priorities
• Act as Asset Owner accountable for the full product lifecycle including value delivery stability compliance and IT risk
• Drive product thinking: shift from project delivery to durable consumable digital products delivered as a service
• Strengthen alignment using OKRs QBRs and Obeya ensuring strategy turns into coordinated execution
• Define and maintain a productcentred backlog structured around Releases and Innovations balancing functional and nonfunctional needs
• Lead and empower teams by providing clear direction priorities and contextwithout micromanaging delivery
• Partner closely with Tech Leads and Architects within the leadership trinity to ensure sound design quality and sustainability
• Proactively manage IT risk dependencies and stakeholders across Business Risk Finance and IT
• Act as a role model for Agile leadership and product management maturity within REF and beyond

How to succeed

You are a senior product professional who combines strategic thinking with handson leadership. You are comfortable operating in complex regulated environments and understand that strong product management is as much about alignment and ownership as it is about delivery.

You succeed in this role if you:

• Have extensive experience as a Product Lead Product Manager or Asset Owner in complex IT landscapes
• Bring solid experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP BW NetWeaver
• Have a deep understanding of IT risk continuity and compliance in a financial context
• Demonstrate strong strategic planning and execution capabilities from vision to measurable outcomes
• Excel in stakeholder management bridging Business IT Architecture and Risk
• Lead effectively in Agile multidisciplinary teams fostering autonomy with clear direction
• Can coach teams in defining product vision OKRs and outcomesnot just outputs
• Bring real estate domain knowledge (a strong advantage not a prerequisite)

• Excellent command of spoken and written Dutch and English.
