Description

Regions Hospital is looking for a highly motivated clinical pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical care and clinical expertise to patients. Pharmacists at Regions Hospital provide professional pharmaceutical services by rounding with patient care teams monitoring patient medication therapies providing drug information and education to healthcare providers and patients/families precepting pharmacy students and residents reviewing medication orders dispensing medications and related supplies overseeing the work of direct support personnel and participating in quality and safety improvement projects.

Established in 1872 Regions Hospital is a private not-for-profit organization. The hospital provides health care services for St. Paul and its surrounding communities as well as for patients who come from greater Minnesota Western Wisconsin and other Midwestern states. Regions Hospital is part of the HealthPartners family of care.

Work Schedule:

  • Day/evening with every other weekend.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy.
  • Current license to practice pharmacy in the State of Minnesota.
  • Currently functioning in a decentralized capacity or comparable role or completion of a post-doctorate pharmacy program (i.e. residency or fellowship) or BPS Board Certification (e.g. Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Post-graduate training and/or specialty BPS Board Certification.
  • Licensed preceptor with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy.

Additional Information:
This is a union 0.9 FTE (72 hours per pay period) day/evening shift position working in Saint Paul MN. The full salary range for this position is $74.83-$85.22 per hour based on experience. This position is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is eligible for benefits.
