Summary
Operates a tellers window by providing prompt efficient and accurate customer service representing the bank in a courteous professional manner alert to customer needs and willing to cross-sell or refer the customer to the appropriate staff member.
Essential Functions
- Pays and Receives items.
- Issues money orders and bank official checks.
- Balances transactions at end of day and verifies cash totals.
- Admits customers to safe-deposit boxes.
- Processes night deposit bags.
- Performs clerical tasks as needed
- Cross-sells banks services and products.
Job Qualifications
- Banking experience preferred.
- Two years cash handling.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Interpersonal skills to represent the bank in a positive way.
- Cash handling accuracy (tested skill)
