Main Ingredients of the Job

• Communicate with Dispatcher/Router for truck trailer and door assignments

• Keep assigned equipment coupled

• Move trailers between buildings as directed by Router or Warehouse Supervisor

• Load unload or merge loads between environments

• Stage shuttle trailers nightly for shuttle drivers

• Set up trailers for backhaul with tractor and empty pallets

• Place backhauls in correct doors to be unloaded by warehouse

• Ensure all equipment is paired and ready for next-day deliveries

• Work with mechanics nightly

• Attend required company meetings

• Perform all other duties as assigned
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift carry push and pull 2080 lbs. of product repetitively during each shift

• Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions
  

What You Bring to the Table

• Must be at least 21 years of age

• Valid drivers license issued by state of residence

• Minimum of six (6) months non-CDL commercial driving experience preferred

• Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations

• Must be able to pass a DOT physical

• Must be able to read and communicate in the English language able to understand traffic signs and signals respond to official inquiries and complete reports and records
  

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education specific skills function geographic location and other factors as applicable by law.
The expected base rate for this role is $31.00 per hour.

This role will also receive:
