Job Description:
Budget Associates are responsible fortracking Media spending by month for their assigned account.The role will have day-to-day responsibility for supporting the account ensuring all deliverables internal and Client facing are executed according to plan and agreed timelines. The ideal candidate will have a passion for numbers and keen attention to detail.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Financial & Corporate Accounting:
Work with Budget Managers / Planners to adjust and reconcile budget numbers throughout the month / year
Attend weekly status meetings to stay informed of upcoming changes or additions to thebudgets
Handle intermittent budget related requests from Budget Managers / Planning / Clients
ReviewMediaocean(DDS) commits against Planners MPF to ensure accuracy
Create yearly budget level documents to send to clientson a monthly basis
Prepare monthly financial reporting package to be sent to client
Monitor EAs and Invoices through client systems and work with Budget Managers / Planning / Clients for invoice rejections
Obtain signatures and documents as needed for audit compliance
Track PO balances for each EA
Client & Internal Relationships:
Build trusting collaborative relationships with clients and internal teams
Ensure collaboration among all groups;fostersgreat teamwork
Keeps abreast of all billing and reporting issues and escalate discrepancies to managers
Inquisitive and solution-oriented when barrierspresent
Communication Skills:
Express oneselfclearand concise both written and verbally
Organize ideas and information logically and sequentially
EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
Bachelors degree
1yearswork experience withhands onbudget management experience (preferably within the media industry).
Proficiencyin MS Office suite; proficient knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel
The annual salary range for this position is $41000 - $42000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience knowledge skills and other factors permitted by law.
