Global Commercial a function within Care EnablementunitesSales Marketing Global Sales Excellence and Global Technical Operations. This team delivers high-quality medical devices technical services and effective commercial strategies across global markets advancing our mission to improve patient lives. As a Field Service Technician you ensure that kidney patients can undergo dialysis safely by maintaining and servicing our medical devices. These devices are used worldwide for the dialysis treatment of kidney patients which is why they must be reliable of the highest quality and equipped with the latest this role you will be part of the Benelux organization working closely with colleagues across the region to support our customers and ensure excellent service delivery.
Your Responsibilities:
- You ensure a high-quality service standard taking into account compliance our company processes and established procedures
- You perform repairs installations maintenance activities updates upgrades and modifications on our medical devices in hospitals and at patients homes in Belgium and Luxembourg
- You assist in setting up network connections for our equipment within the hospital environment
- You work daytime shifts with occasional on-call duties in the evenings and weekends
- You ensure that your tools and calibration equipment are always compliant and up to standard
- You start your workday from home and carry out your tasks on-site in Belgium and Luxembourg
- You quickly and efficiently resolve technical ad hoc issues
- For each intervention you prepare a service report based on the task performed (repair installation modification maintenance etc.) and ensure that the customer receives a copy
Your Profile:
- You hold a Bachelors degree in a technical field or you have equivalent experience
- English Dutch and French language fluency is required
- You have strong technical insight and can navigate electronic and hydraulic diagrams and applications
- Experience as a Field Service Technician is an advantage. Experience in the healthcare industry is an additional plus but not required
- You are flexible and have a customer- and service-oriented mindset
- You are a self-starter and a team player
- You guarantee 100% quality in every situation
- You are able to communicate effectively in both national languages
- You are trustworthy and have a strong sense of responsibility
