Click here to learn more about LPB: Public Broadcasting (LPB) is seeking an experienced HR Analyst A/B/C or Human Resources Specialist to support comprehensive HR operations from recruitment through offboarding.
This position serves as the first point of contact for the HR Department. It is responsible for recruiting in LA Careers processing personnel actions in LaGov HCM payroll auditing and reconciliation benefits and FMLA administration Workers Compensation coordination and monitoring compliance with State Civil Service Rules. The role also assists the HR Director with FCC and EEO compliance initiatives.
An ideal candidate should posses the following competencies:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Three years of human resources experience; OR
Six years of full-time experience in any field; OR
A bachelors degree.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties:
Oversee full-cycle recruitment and ensure compliance with State Civil Service Rules
Process and audit personnel and payroll transactions in LaGov HCM
Administer benefits FMLA Workers Compensation and retirement programs
Monitor Performance Evaluation System (PES) compliance and reporting
Serve as HRs first point of contact and support compliance initiatives (FCC/EEO)
