A Manager HR for a coal washeryoversees the entire employee lifecycle ensuring statutory compliance labor management and talent acquisition for plant operations. Key responsibilities include payroll PF/ESI administration handling union/labor issues managing safety induction and maintaining compliance with mining regulations.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Recruitment & Staffing:Manages end-to-end recruitment for technical operational and office staff focusing on labor planning for washery operations.
- Statutory Compliance & Payroll:Handles salary payroll EPF ESI bonus and ensures compliance with labor laws and mining regulations.
- Employee Relations & Industrial Relations:Manages industrial relations employee grievances and disciplinary actions to maintain harmony especially with contracted labor.
- Induction & Training:Coordinates safety training inductions and skill development programs tailored to coal washery operations.
- Documentation & MIS:Maintains comprehensive employee records and prepares HR reports and management information systems (MIS).
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education:MBA in HR MSW or related field.
- Experience:Proven experience in HR within a manufacturing mining or coal washery environment.
- Knowledge:Strong knowledge of labor laws mining safety regulations and statutory compliance (PF ESI Gratuity).
- Skills:Excellent communication conflict resolution and people management skills.
