Job Description
Job Title: Secondary English Teacher IB (MYP/DP) - Maternity Cover
We are looking for a qualified and passionate Secondary English Teacher to teach the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and/or Diploma Programme (DP). The candidate should be committed to delivering high-quality instruction aligned with IB standards and fostering critical thinking communication and analytical skills in students.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging English lessons as per IB MYP/DP curriculum
Prepare lesson plans teaching materials and assessments in line with IB guidelines
Monitor and assess student progress providing timely feedback
Support students in developing reading writing speaking and analytical skills
Maintain accurate records and required IB documentation
Participate in school meetings professional development and school events
Requirements:
Bachelors/Masters degree in English or related field
IB teaching experience preferred (MYP/DP)
Strong communication and classroom management skills
Commitment to continuous professional development
