Description
Job Summary
Provides courteous safe transport of patients and/or supplies throughout the facility. Performs other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Transports patients equipment and/or supplies throughout hospital to ensure items are available when needed for patient care.
- Maintains a safe and germ-free environment for all customers.
- Documents all patient transports on appropriate departmental log.
- Inspects equipment prior to usage to ensure in proper working order.
- Completes assigned goals.
Specifications
Experience
Preferred/Desired
- 6 months hospital or customer service experience.
Education
Minimum Required
- Knowledge skills and mental development equivalent to completion of 4 years of high school or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred/Desired
- HS diploma/GED or higher
