Position Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and dependable Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist to support both clinical and administrative functions in a busy healthcare setting. This role requires strong phlebotomy expertise front and back-office experience and the ability to provide compassionate high-quality patient care while ensuring smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Greet room and prepare patients for examinations
Obtain and accurately document vital signs
Perform phlebotomy and venipuncture procedures
Administer vaccines and conduct point-of-care (POC) testing
Perform EKGs as required
Manage appointment scheduling and patient phone inquiries
Maintain accurate documentation within EMR systems
Provide clinical and administrative support to providers and staff
Promote a positive team-oriented work environment

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience (externship not included)
23 years of overall experience preferred
Proven phlebotomy/venipuncture experience
Experience with EMR systems
Front and back-office experience
EKG experience
Current BLS or CPR certification
Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred
Occupational Health experience strongly preferred
Interest in patient education and community health initiatives
