As a Main Kitchen Cook 3 at The Beverly Hills Hotel your compensation will be $31.10 per hour.
A day in the life of our Main Kitchen Cook-3s it demands high levels of energy in order to keep up. They need consistency even though the days are never alike; and creativity to tackle daily adventures. Listing all of the tasks that our Main Kitchen Cook-3s accomplish would be lengthy but the list below is essential to know.
Our Main Kitchen Cook-3s are responsible for preparing ingredients for cooking including portioning chopping and storing as well as washing and peeling fresh fruits and vegetables.
They will also prepare and cook food leave the prep set up to standard for next day of service during their day.
This will include communicating any assistance needed during busy periods to the Chef to ensure optimum services checking and ensuring the correctness of the temperature of appliances and food and monitoring the quantity of food that is prepared and the portions that are served to ensure our guests receives nothing but the best experience.
Sometimes our guests have special requests involving dietary and/or allergy restrictions and even special occasions. Most of these requests are fulfilled by our Main Kitchen Cook-3s.
Our hotels are truly luxury hotels. This requires preventing and correcting the imperfections and blemishes that tend to come up. Our Main Kitchen Cook-3s are relied upon to report these and work with several other positions to correct.
Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. Our Main Kitchen Cook-3s must communicate with other departments and extended hotel team in order to ensure the alignment remains.
