Medical Technologist
Location: Lawrenceville GA 30046
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks (High possibility of extension)
Shift: SundayThursday 8:00 PM 6:30 AM (Weekend rotation required)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Pay Rate: $42$47 per hour
Position Overview
A healthcare organization in the Lawrenceville Georgia area is seeking an experienced Medical Technologist to support laboratory operations during overnight hours. This role plays a critical part in performing diagnostic testing that supports disease prevention diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform laboratory testing in accordance with established protocols
Analyze specimens to assist in diagnosis and patient care
Ensure accuracy quality control and proper documentation of test results
Maintain laboratory equipment and follow safety standards
Collaborate with clinical staff as needed
Required Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Required Certifications & Licensure
One or more of the following required:
ASCP
NCA
AMT
AAB
HHS
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience within laboratory specialty
Experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
