What youll do in the role:
Morgan Stanley is seeking an Associate Research in New York New York to support the Research COO team through rigorous analysis and proactive partnership with senior and cross-functional stakeholders.
The Associate will own a significant portion of Research reporting for analysts management and partner teams. You will design enhance and run performance and business-outcome metrics ensuring reporting is accurate scalable and decision-useful. The role requires a highly data-driven approach translating complex datasets into clear insights narratives and recommendations that influence business decisions.
You will work closely with Research leadership Sales Technology and other internal partners to apply analytics in support of client engagement strategies business planning and strategic decision-making. Responsibilities include consolidating data from multiple sources validating results synthesizing findings into executive-ready materials and guiding stakeholders on how to use data effectively in practice.
This role will also gather requirements and manage delivery for management data platforms automate and streamline reporting and data workflows and support the execution of strategic initiatives led by the Research COO team. Success in this role requires strong ownership the ability to move quickly from problem to solution and confident communication across technical and non-technical audiences. The Associate will collaborate with stakeholders in the U.S. and overseas balancing independent ownership with a highly collaborative working style. Telecommuting permitted up to 1 day per week.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $100000 and $155000 per year for Associate at the commencement of employment. However base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package which depending on the position may also include commission earnings incentive compensation discretionary bonuses other short and long-term incentive packages and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
