Woodston Personnel is thrilled to offer a remarkable opportunity for a Consultant in Adult Hepatology to join our prestigious clients medical team in Saudi Arabia. This role is ideal for a skilled and experienced hepatologist dedicated to providing high-quality care to patients with liver diseases and related conditions.
The Consultant will be responsible for evaluating diagnosing and managing patients with a broad spectrum of liver-related disorders including viral hepatitis alcoholic liver disease non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and advanced liver disease requiring transplantation.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments and develop comprehensive management plans for patients with liver disorders.
Perform procedures such as liver biopsies and ultrasound-guided interventions.
Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including gastroenterologists surgeons and other specialists to provide holistic care.
Supervise and train junior medical staff fellows and other healthcare professionals in hepatology.
Engage in research activities and clinical audits to enhance the understanding and treatment of liver diseases.
Participate in outreach programs to promote liver health and disease prevention in the community.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical documentation in compliance with hospital standards and legal requirements.
Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocol development in hepatology.
Stay current with the latest advances in hepatology and participate in continuing medical education activities.
Full time contracts with excellent renumeration and benefits available

Job requirements
MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
US Board/ FRCS - Irish UK Canadian New Zealand or Australian/ Diploma dEtudes Specialises (DES)/ CIS French Board/ Fachart & Sub- Board/ Fellowship / Board / Fellowship / Sweden / Belgium / Finland / Spain
Must have at least 3-5years of post-consultant or senior specialist experience
Eligible for consultant licensure with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS)
