Role Summary
A medical clinic is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant toassistwith both administrative and clinical duties. This position supports daily patient care activities and works closely with clinical staff to ensure efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and escort them to exam rooms
- Handle appointment scheduling and incoming calls
- Obtain and document vital signs
- Perform blood draws and venipuncture
- Administer immunizations per protocol
- Assistproviders with clinical tasks
- Communicate effectively with staff and patients
- Support patient education initiatives
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of MA experience beyond externship
- CMA certification preferred
- Occupational Health background a plus
- Phlebotomy and EMR experiencerequired
- Strong communicationand organizational skills
