Job Summary

Job Title: Workday Integration Developer (Techno-Functional)

Location: Chicago IL or Tempe AZ (Hybrid 3 days onsite)

Type: Contract / Full-Time

Overview:
Seeking a Workday Integration Developer with strong technical integration expertise and functional understanding of HR and Payroll processes to design build and support integrations across core Workday modules.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop integrations using Workday Studio EIB Core Connectors and Web Services
Build inbound/outbound integrations for HCM Payroll Benefits Talent and Time Tracking
Integrate Workday with third-party vendors (payroll benefits banking background checks)
Collaborate with HR and Payroll teams to translate functional needs into technical solutions
Configure business processes security roles and calculated fields
Perform data transformations using XML/XSLT and support BIRT reporting
Troubleshoot integration failures and resolve data/performance issues
Support Workday releases testing and post-production environments
Maintain technical documentation and ensure data security compliance

Requirements:

6 years of Workday integration development experience
Strong hands-on expertise with Workday Studio and Core Connectors
Experience across HCM Payroll Benefits and Talent modules
Proficiency in REST/SOAP APIs XML and XSLT transformations
Knowledge of Workday security model and business process framework
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex integration and payroll issues
Strong communication skills and ability to work hybrid onsite

Preferred:

Workday Integration Certification
Experience with PECI PICOF Benefits Connectors
Integrations with ADP Fidelity banking or healthcare vendors
Exposure to AWS/Azure or Workday Prism Analytics
