Senior Ansible Automation Engineer (Windows/Linux)

Location: Remote in LATAM Brazil (Work primarily in local time zone with overlap across US India and UK teams)
Duration: 6 months (possible extensions)

Rate: $25-30/hr on W2

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Ansible Automation Engineer to support enterprise automation initiatives using Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) and Event-Driven Ansible (EDA).

This role focuses on enhancing and migrating automation use cases across Windows and Linux environments with a strong emphasis on Windows automation.

Key Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain Ansible Playbooks Ansible Workflows and Event-Driven Automations
Analyze and migrate existing Windows/Linux automation workflows into Ansible-based solutions
Automate operational tasks including patching compliance configuration management and observability
Integrate Ansible with enterprise tools such as ServiceNow Splunk VMware and external databases (SQL/Oracle)
Build and maintain custom Ansible modules and collections (Python-based)
Collaborate with global cross-functional teams in a backlog-driven automation model
Produce technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Ansible Automation Platform (AAP)
Working knowledge of Event-Driven Ansible (EDA)
Advanced Ansible Playbook development for Windows and Linux
Proficiency in Python PowerShell or Bash
Strong YAML and JSON skills
Experience integrating automations with APIs and external data sources
Familiarity with GitHub and CI/CD concepts
