COMPUTER SOFTWARE: Health Management System (HMS) Microsoft Office

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have Medical Assistant Certification

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide direct patient care services of a medical nature in a clinical setting
Knowledge of basic medical terminology
Phlebotomy skills as well as administering IM and Subcutaneous injections
Ability to administer and read accurate blood pressure testing
Interviewing patients and obtain a complete medical history
Ability to keep accurate records
Distribute prescribed medications
Effective communication skills

Skill Required-Minimum 1 years of experience

Ability to speak and understand English and communicate effectively
Experience as a medical assistant in a clinical setting
Have completed and passed a medical assistant program
Skilled at taking and reading accurate blood pressures
Experience distributing prescribed medications to patients
Experience interviewing patients to obtain complete medical histories
Experience in phlebotomy administering IM and Subcutaneous injections
