Position
The Regional Consultant role is a critical internal sales position for Polen Capital. It is a proactive sales role responsible for partnering with senior sales professionals to drive asset growth and cultivate new client relationships. This is a phone-first role. If you like the craft of opening conversations with smart people youll thrive here. Having innate drive and grit will set a candidate up for success.
The role involves proactively engaging Financial Advisors RIAs and Family Offices because of the candidates outbound work. Upon successfully engaging a prospect the Regional Consultant needs to be able to identify and position the most appropriate Polen Capital investment strategy as a solution to their investment needs. A passion for Capital Markets and familiarity with Mutual Funds SMAs Interval Funds UCITS and ETFs is foundational to success.
Successful candidates will have an entrepreneurial spirit and drive and will want to work hard to be seen as a trusted and critical business partner. Success in the role fundamentally relies on a candidates proactive approach laser-focus on the needs of their business partners and desire to continuously improve. For candidates who are driven by results and have an ability to stay focused on the bottom line of asset growth and retention this position is a direct on ramp to an attractive career in asset management distribution.

Responsibilities
- Proactive sales outreach in assigned territory to financial advisors via outbound call and e-mail efforts
- Strategic oversight & coordination of territory travel for meetings and conferences
- Proactively secure prospects and client review meetings in tandem with senior sales leaders in the territory and in alignment with travel schedules
- Serve as a home office point of contact to promptly answer client questions
- Analyze competitive product reports and offer ideas on how to position Polen Capital attractively
- Data-Driven approach to territory segmentation and call prioritization
- Commitment to partnership: sales is a team sport and the internal wholesaler is at the heart of a high-functioning sales team helping align everyone to the teams highest value efforts
- Build strong relationships with partners across the firm- including marketing data analytics and the investing teams
- Develop and maintain knowledge of market dynamics and the firms investment strategies and offerings. Share client and market feedback with internal partners across the firm
- Focus on the bottom line: success will be measured primarily on asset-growth and retention in targeted products with targeted financial advisors
- Document activities and opportunity milestones in a timely way via required technologies and process in the contact management system
Qualifications
- Comfort with phone and e-mail tools and a commitment to high activity is critical; these are our primary methods of establishing contact and building new relationships with prospects
- Conviction in the value of data analytics to segment prospects by success likelihood
- FINRA SIE S7 S66 Licenses a plus
