Pay Rate and Schedule:

The position includes a total wage of $26.98 /hour plus acomprehensive Day-One Benefit program. Paid weekly. Paid time-off: Vacation holiday and Winter Holiday*. 401K matching AND additional 2-5% annual company contribution*.

Openings available on2nd shift: Monday Friday 2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. Overtime opportunities may be available on a voluntary basis based on business needs and with leader prior authorization. All initial communication and status updates will be via email.

Required Qualification for Consideration:

• 2 years experience in a mechanic or assembly field heavy equipment assembly or technical school with a focus in a mechanical or manufacturing field.

• Relevant experiencessuch as mechanical aptitude in a personal or professional settingmust be described in application

Top Candidates Will Have:

• 6 months minimum Caterpillar Paving experience

• Heavy assemblymanufacturingor Caterpillar manufacturing experience.

• Intermediate or greater proficiency using electronic and digital devices and mediums

• Experience using mechanical tools including torque toolsand operation of crane equipment

• Understanding ofmetric unitshydraulicsand electrical components

• Good communication skills

Your Role Day to Day:

As a Mechanical Technician team member you will supportfacility initiativesand daily tasksfocused on people safety qualityvelocityand cost. As a team member you willbe responsible forsafely assembling heavy paving products according to model pictures and build instructionsutilizingmechanical tools torque tools metric unitshydraulicsand electrical components within allotted process will work with team members onidentifying electronicallydocumentingand communicating opportunities for with limited supervision.

• Post-Offer Medical Questionnaire (clearance from Corporate Medical)

Work Environment & Physical Requirements Detail:

Operate overhead cranes jibcranesand hoists. Lift up to 35lbsfrequently. Work at multiple heights. Climb on equipment machinesladdersand various step stools. Stand for a minimum of8-hourshifts with minimal breaks. Workinan environmentwithfrequentlychanging that mayimpactmedical devices. Kneel squat and crawl on knees. Work in awkward positions including forward reach lateral reach squat overhead reaching twisting and forward head and rotation of neck. Work in tight spaces. Repetitive grasping pushing pulling rotating Use of fine motor skills. Use of hand tools including wrenches air tools drills cutters tie wrap guns pneumaticvibratory etc. Includesability to pull manual torque tools to torque requirements (at least 250 Newton meters or185-footpounds).Required Personal Protective Equipment:hearing protection safety glasseshand protection andsteel toed/metatarsal footgear.
