In This Role
As a Software Engineer you will design build and maintain services that support largescale driverservicing systems for global Windows users. Operating within an Agile/Scrum environment youll work across modern and legacy codebases develop cloudhosted services and contribute to infrastructure modernization efforts. This role requires deep expertise in C#/.NET Azure cloud services and DevOps foundations with a strong focus on service reliability developer productivity and continuous improvement of production systems.
Responsibilities- Design develop implement test and maintain business and application software.
- Finetune and enhance complex software implementation projects.
- Gather and analyze system requirements document specifications and deliver tailored software solutions.
- Review enhancement requests and translate them into actionable technical updates.
- Implement system software and customize solutions to meet client and platform needs.
- Prepare detailed technical specifications documentation and test plans.
- Develop new programs aligned to specifications and generate test data for validation.
- Modernize and refactor existing programs to meet new standards and improve service health.
- Conduct unit testing and troubleshoot issues across both new and legacy systems.
- Build migration packages for system testing user acceptance and production deployment.
- Perform quality assurance reviews to ensure reliability and compliance.
- Validate postimplementation performance and resolve production bugs.
Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering or a related technical field.
- 57 years of professional software engineering experience.
Core Technical Requirements
C# / .NET Development (57 years)
- Strong handson experience with C# across Framework and (.NET Core / .NET 6).
- Experience building production systems and handling large/legacy codebases.
- Proven ability to perform refactoring modernization and code quality improvements.
- Experience migrating to SDKstyle projects updating NuGet packages and runtimes.
- Ability to write maintainable testable serviceoriented code and troubleshoot complex issues.
Microsoft Azure & Cloud Services (57 years)
- Experience building deploying and operating services in Azure.
- Proficiency in developing RESTful APIs hosted in cloud environments.
- Understanding of Azure subscriptions resource groups configuration and service environments.
- Familiarity with cloudbased CI/CD workflows and platform update processes.
Infrastructure as Code & DevOps Foundations (57 years)
- Strong experience with IaC tools (ARM templates Bicep etc.).
- Experience migrating or upgrading pipelines (Azure DevOps or equivalent).
- Understanding of environment isolation pipeline modernization and service compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to improve developer productivity through enhanced build reliability automation and testing pipelines.
Other Required Competencies
- Strong foundation in computer science (data structures algorithms software design).
- Experience designing and developing largescale systems.
- Experience troubleshooting deep system issues across new and legacy production environments.
- Strong problemdiagnosis and resolution skills.
Salary Range
At Blueprint we strive to offer competitive pay that reflects the value of our team members. Compensation for this role is influenced by a variety of factors including skills education responsibilities experience and geographic market. For candidates based in Washington State the anticipated salary range is$100000 to $110000 per annum. Please note that we typically do not hire new employees at the top of the posted range. Actual starting pay will be determined based on experience skills and internal equity. The final salary and job title may vary depending on the selected candidates qualifications and could fall outside the stated range.
