Transport Management System (TMS) Training Lead 9 Month Fixed Term Contract

An opportunity is available for a hands on Transport Management System (TMS) Training Lead to support a large operational system rollout.

This is a 9 month fixed term contract starting ASAP. You will work closely with a Change Manager to design coordinate and deliver practical engaging training to operational teams as part of a Transport Management System implementation.

This role will suit someone who enjoys working directly with frontline teams and translating system functionality into clear practical learning that builds confidence before go live.

The role involves regular travel across multiple sites nationwide particularly during peak training delivery periods. While some sessions may be delivered virtually a strong on site presence will be important to support operational teams and ensure effective adoption.

A key component of this position is delivering training using a train the trainer model. You will equip and enable site based trainers and operational champions to deliver training locally ensuring consistency and sustainable knowledge transfer. This includes both direct facilitation and building the capability of others to support their teams.

Responsibilities include developing and refining the training plan aligned to user groups creating and customising training materials and job aids delivering engaging classroom and virtual sessions coordinating training logistics tracking completion and identifying knowledge gaps and supporting go live readiness and early hypercare.

The role will involve training drivers dispatch staff and transport planners so experience working with operational or frontline audiences is highly valued.

To be successful you will bring proven experience delivering corporate systems training strong facilitation skills experience working within a train the trainer model the ability to simplify complex systems into practical learning and strong organisational capability to manage delivery across multiple locations.

The position is Auckland based with hybrid flexibility and requires national travel. Immediate start preferred.
