Job Summary
Job Title: Graphic Designer 12 months fixed term
Reports to: Head of Marketing
Location: Carlisle

Purpose of the role
This role is ideal for a highly organised designer with the ability to manage a variety of digital and print marketing tasks. Working within a collaborative marketing team youll contribute to projects including print design social media publishing and content management. Responsibilities include creating advertisements brochures product packaging displays and brand communications.
Key responsibilities
- Designing visually appealing digital and print marketing materials (brochures flyers posters packaging social media graphics).
- Efficiently managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Collaborating closely with the marketing team and other departments reporting progress and ensuring timely task completion.
- Generating creative ideas and concepts emphasising interactive design elements.
- Upholding and using brand guidelines to ensure design consistency across all materials.
- Demonstrating illustrative skills with sketches and working on layouts ready for print.
- Using innovation to refine a design brief within time and cost constraints.
Skills competencies qualifications and personal experience
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop Illustrator InDesign).
- Demonstrates a systematic organised and accurate approach to tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Enthusiastic self-motivation and a proactive work ethic.
- Ability to manage projects from initiation to completion with attention to detail.
- Strong creative outlook and ability to generate fresh ideas.
- Effectively manages multiple priorities and meets deadlines consistently.
- Holds a recognised industry qualification or relevant experience in graphic design.
- Minimum of 2 years of industry experience ideally in a B2B environment.
- Effective team player with the ability to take initiative when required.
