You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify motor cognitive perceptual sensory and functional limitations then translate findings into evidence-based goals-driven treatment plans. Your days will include therapeutic interventions to restore mobility dexterity and independence in activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs). Youll coach patients and families on self-management strategies provide caregiver training and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize discharge planning and community reintegration. Documentation is precise and timely aligned with best practices and regulatory requirements. Youll adapt interventions for neuro orthopedic pediatric or geriatric needs while expanding your professional scope through ongoing education mentorship and opportunities to specialize in areas such as hand therapy pediatrics neurology or cognitive rehabilitation.
