Position Summary
The Data Scientist People Analytics & Data Quality is responsible for ensuring accurate consistent and well-governed personnel data and transforming it into insights dashboards and scalable analytics solutions. The role supports HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and business leaders by enabling data-driven workforce decisions through automation advanced analytics and AI-enabled use cases.
This role partners closely with HR IT and People Analytics stakeholders and plays a key role in improving trust in HR data while expanding analytical maturity across the organization.
Scope & Impact
Leads complex cross-functional people analytics initiatives with broad business impact.
Owns data quality strategy advanced analytics solutions and automation design for multiple HR domains.
Acts as a trusted analytics advisor to senior HR and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Own and drive the quality consistency and governance of personnel data across HR systems and analytics platforms.
Define and implement data quality frameworks validation rules and reconciliation processes to ensure trusted HR data.
Design maintain and evolve scalable workforce data models integrating multiple HR data sources (e.g. HCM ATS LMS).
Lead the development of advanced dashboards and self-service analytics solutions for HRBPs and business leaders.
Translate complex and ambiguous business and workforce questions into structured analytical approaches and actionable insights.
Identify design and implement automation solutions to streamline HR reporting data preparation and recurring analyses.
Lead AI-enabled and advanced analytics use cases (e.g. attrition prediction workforce forecasting skills and mobility insights).
Act as a trusted analytics advisor to senior HR and business leaders influencing decision-making through data storytelling.
Partner with HR HRIS IT and data governance teams to align analytics solutions with enterprise data architecture and standards.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior data scientists or analysts within People Analytics.
Ensure responsible ethical and compliant use of employee data in line with privacy security and regulatory requirements.
Continuously improve people analytics capabilities standards and best practices across the organization.
Knowledge Skills & Experience
Bachelors or Masters degree in a quantitative field.
Typically 4 years of experience in data science advanced analytics or people analytics.
Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python/R including automation and modeling.
Strong experience with BI tools and data visualization best practices.
Proven experience applying machine learning or advanced statistical techniques.
Deep understanding of HR data governance and employee data privacy.
Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.
