Job Summary

Athena SWC LLC headquartered in Amherst NY is a sales and marketing development agency that serves as an outsourced lead generation team for B2B businesses. We help our clients engage with target prospects and assist them with moving sales opportunities through the sales pipelineby providingtoolsand a teamto execute andmanage the sales process.

We are looking for a goal-oriented individual who can help build a sales pipeline and drive new business development through outbound prospecting qualifying and data this critical role you will be the first point of contact to potential customers on behalf of our clients.

Successful people in this role will becomefront endsales experts in multiple environments and industries. Understanding the importanceof this role to the team and sales pipelines of our clientsissignificant.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform frequentoutboundphonecallsand email activitiestocreatequalifiedsales readyappointments

  • Engageand educatedecision makersand C-level prospectsbased on provided targetlists

  • Research further potential targets

  • Act as a consultative partner for potential customers; fielding questions and handling objectionsto provide value to key decision makers whenneeded

  • Master tech platforms and CRM systemssuch asLinkedInPipedriveSalesforce OutlookOffice 365etc.

  • Collaborate with team membersand make suggestions on how toimprove outreachefforts

  • Participate in team meetings and on-goingtraining


Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelors Degreein Business Administration or related field stronglypreferred

  • A strong interest in beginning a career in salesisrequired

  • Competitive spirit to hitprogramgoals

  • Readinesstocold call

  • Self-starter who works well in a highly collaborative/team environment

  • Strong written verbaland communication skills

  • Adaptability andeagerness to learnsales processskills

  • Curiosity to work withnewindustries

  • Coachability

  • Inside sales and prospecting experience are a plus

Hours Of Operation:

  • Our office hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday

  • Our summer hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Friday

  • We pride ourselves on our flexibility; however the ability to work additional hours will be needed at peak times
