The Role:
The Forward Deployed AI Engineer at Wedded Wonderland is an outcome-driven builder embedded within our internal operations. You design and ship AI-powered workflows that drive measurable impact across our teams automating processes and improving efficiency across the business.
Success is defined by what you produce. Youll have high autonomy leverage cutting-edge AI tools and internal automations and be rewarded for execution and results through output-aligned performance incentives.
What Youll Do:
AI-Powered Workflow Engineering Build and deploy AI-driven workflows that improve internal operations. Take full ownership of end-to-end development from concept to production ensuring solutions deliver real measurable outcomes.
Build with Maximum Leverage Use the latest AI-assisted coding tools (like Claude Code Codex Cursor etc.) to multiply your output and continuously refine workflows. The more high-impact solutions you ship the more value you contribute to the organization.
Full Stack Development Execute across front-end back-end and infrastructure adapting quickly to different systems and internal tools. Contribute effectively within complex architectures and operational domains.
Systems Design & Agent Architecture Design and build platforms that transform how Wedded Wonderland operates. Create reliable auditable systems with intuitive UX that keep our team efficient and informed.
Continuous Learning & Knowledge Sharing Work alongside exceptional internal builders solving real complex problems. Share insights refine workflows and adopt new tools and techniques to accelerate AI adoption across the company.

Required Skills:
Strong full-stack development skills Deep understanding of Relational Databases Demonstrable experience with the modern JavaScript ecosystem ES6 React/JSX Angular Vue or similar Nodejs NPM/Yarn Back-end/server-side JavaScript (Lambda/SAM Serverless framework Express APIs etc) AWS knowledge - SQS EC2 Lambda RDS CloudFormation Unix-based OS skills OS maintenance system upkeep system configuration Understanding of security principles and active design guidelines against potential threats Ability to debug issues that manifest from the customer level to the back-office Solid understanding of standard data formats and serialisation data schemas and maintaining data integrity Managing codebases using version control (Git) working with automated deployments and pipelines (continuous integration/delivery) Strongly Desired Experience: Working Cloudflare knowledge Experience with E-commerce systems (Magento Shopify etc) Experience working in an Agile environment: Kanban Scrum or similar frameworks Ideal candidates will also have: Java/JSP and related web application experience Retail/POS experience Microsoft 365 knowledge Google Workspace knowledge
