Salary: $27.00 $37.00/hr (Up to $45.00/hr for CV Certified candidates based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: $20000 for Senior OR Tech
Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Senior Level Surgical Technologist (OR Tech III) to join our surgical this role you will serve as a go-to expert and mentor supporting complex and high-risk cases. You will provide first scrub support by managing instruments and anticipating surgeon needs and second scrub support including suctioning suture assistance and endoscopic camera operation.
Key Responsibilities
Expert Scrub Support: Manage instruments supplies and equipment during complex surgical procedures while maintaining strict sterile technique.
Surgical Assistance: Perform second scrub tasks including sponging suctioning cutting sutures and holding retractors.
Lead Competency: Act as a lead resource in specialized areas such as Robotics Total Joints Neuro/Spine Burn and Vascular Surgery.
Vascular Expertise: Utilize advanced wire techniques and endovascular skills within a vascular hybrid room.
Clinical Vigilance: Anticipate surgeon needs and monitor patient care to ensure safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of OR Tech experience.
Endovascular experience in a vascular hybrid room required.
Two years prior experience in a similar facility preferred.
Education: Graduate of an accredited Certified Operating Room Technician (CORT) program.
Licensure/Certification:
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Tech in Surgery (TS-C) required.
BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
On-Call Requirement: Must reside within 30 minutes of the facility.
Compensation & Benefits
Shift Differentials: $3.00/hr for Nights and Weekends.
On-Call Pay: $3.00/hr.
