About the Opportunity
Programmed has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Contract Manager to join our Grounds & Open Spaces team in Perth.
In this role you will lead the day-to-day delivery of commercial grounds maintenance contracts overseeing mowing and horticultural services across a portfolio of high-profile client sites. This permanent full-time position is based in Perth. You will be driving operational excellence achieving strong financial outcomes and nurturing valued client partnerships while building mentoring and empowering a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and manage staff across contract sites
- Coach mentor and lead the contract team to deliver high performance outcomes.
- Deliver exceptional customer relationship management across high-profile sites.
- Partner with clients and operations team to achieve organic & new growth objectives.
- Prepare and manage financial budgets forecasts and reporting requirements.
- Continually improve strategies and processes to increase operational performance.
- Provide expert knowledge to the development of bids & tenders.
- Promote and develop a safety culture across the business.
- Drive operational excellence to maximise customer satisfaction and contract performance.
About You
To excel in this role you will be a motivated professional with a proactive can-do attitude strong people leadership skills and a drive for operational excellence. A background or strong knowledge of the groundskeeping or maintenance services industry is highly desirable
You will also demonstrate:
- Grounds and/or open spaces maintenance experience (highly desirable)
- Horticulture and/or landscaping qualifications (desirable)
- Demonstrated contract management experience.
- Strong financial management and budgeting capability.
- Experience preparing and delivering client reports.
- Highly developed communication and strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Proactive approach to relationship management and business development.
- Ability to lead teams and foster a positive performance-driven culture.
