In this CVICU role youll be at the forefront of high-acuity cardiac care. Core responsibilities include vigilant hemodynamic monitoring interpretation of complex telemetry postoperative management of cardiac surgery patients and rapid coordination with the multidisciplinary team to optimize oxygen delivery and cardiac output. Youll manage ventilatory support and sedation plans in collaboration with respiratory therapists and anesthesia colleagues assist with invasive devices such as arterial lines Swan-Ganz catheters IABP/IABPderived therapy and LVAD considerations where applicable and lead or participate in family discussions about prognosis and care plans. Youll perform comprehensive assessments communicate changes promptly and contribute to daily rounds care plans and quality initiatives.
