Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This positionis responsible forthe following: Other duties may be assigned.

Willexaminethebill of ladingprovided examinationistoverifythatthe bill oflandingcontainstheprojectnumberunitnumberquantitiesandfind (part) number.

Assistwith the unloadingof materials sent via truck or barge fromcustomersverifying the bill of ladingreceivedmatches the transport companysbill of sure all materialsareoff loadedand accounted forbased off bill of lading.

Cannotcheckmaterialsuntilthe customerrepresentativewillassistwiththe receiving ofmaterials.

Material handlerandcustomer representativewill receive all materials basedoffbill of ladings.

Willassistproductionpersonnelwithplacing materials foreachunitinitsdesignated areas.

Documentallparts onthebill ofladingthathave beenreceived;includingquantities andanydamagedmaterialsfound.

Document any missing items frombillof lading and provide to QC.

Work withproductionpersonnelcomparing thematerials on thebill ofladingto the drawings part list.

AssistQCwithtakingpaneldimensions foraccuratecontrolwhen he/shehastime and has been asked toassist.

Assist Production with panel fabrication when he/she has time and has been asked helpingtake measurements grinding and cleaning shop areas.

Required Education & Experience:

High School Diplomasome collegeor technical school certification.

A minimum of6 monthsto 1year experiencein warehousing production or inventory managementis preferred.

Working Conditions:

Regular exposure to all weather conditions especially hot humidand /or rainy weather combined with regular work time indoors in environmentally controlled conditions.

Necessary Equipment Operation:

Computer Skills

Forklift(extend a boom)operating abilities.

Operate shopoverhead cranes.

Special Skills:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
