Senior Social Worker Family Safeguarding Service
Are you an experienced and valuedriven social worker looking to make a real and lasting difference for children and families We are recruiting for our Child in Need Child Protection and Court Teams and are seeking experienced passionate Senior Social Workers to join us.
Lancashire is a Family Safeguarding Authority and our practice model is rooted in motivational interviewing along with other strengthsbased approaches. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team you will help families create positive sustainable change through our Family Safeguarding Programme. This is an opportunity to work creatively collaboratively and with the right professional autonomy to truly influence outcomes.
What were looking for
We welcome applications from social workers who:
- Bring at least 3 years postqualification experience in statutory childrens social care
- Are committed to strengthsbased relationshipfocused practice
- Can work confidently with children in need child protection processes and court work
- Value multiagency working and understand the role of professional curiosity
- Are reflective resilient compassionate and motivated by improving childrens lives
Experience within a Family Safeguarding model is desirable but not essentialwe offer training and development to support you to thrive in this approach.
