Summary

The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of branch operations with a strong focus on customer acquisition team development and financial management. The role demands both strategic oversight and hands-on leadership to ensure operational efficiency customer satisfaction and sustainable growth.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive branch growth by acquiring new clients and maintaining strong relationships with existing ones.
  • Ensure excellent customer service by fostering an environment of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Regularly visitkey clients to identify opportunities for further business development.
  • Oversee branch operations to ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal standards.

  • Use financial reports to manage cash flow improve transportation yield and control expenses.
  • Focus on driving profitable growth by increasing revenue and improving operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement strategies to keep the branch competitive in the freight forwarding market.
  • Leverage market insights to adapt and enhance the branchs operational performance.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to align branch goals with overall company objectives.
  • Promote a culture of integrity transparency and constructive feedback within the branch.
  • Travel as required.

  • Hire train and develop a high-performing team aligned with the companys mission.
  • Foster a culture of open dialogue and constructive feedback encouraging growth and continuous improvement.
  • Smoothly integrate new hires into the organization and provide ongoing support for their development.

Educational background / Work experience

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Logistics Supply Chain Management or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in the freight forwarding industry or 10 years of equivalent work experience is preferred.

Physical Demands

Work is generally sedentary with no specific need for physical coordination or effort. May require physical effort associated with using the computer to access information or occasional standing walking lifting needed to carry out everyday activities. Hours can be extensive as well as occasionally staggered for multi-shift access. While performing the duties of this job the employee uses his/her hands to finger handle or feel objects tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop kneel or crouch; talk or hear. The employee uses computer and telephone equipment. Specific vision requirements of this job include close vision and distance vision. Minimal travel maybe required for this role domestically and internationally.

While performing the duties of this job the employee rarely is exposed to fumes or airborne particles toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. For this position the expected base pay is:$111000-$166000 / Annual. Actual compensation will bedeterminedbased on job-related factors including relevant experience skills education or certifications and geographic location consistent with applicable laws and company policy.
