Raytheons El Segundo CA Fire control Radar Products (FCRP) an Advanced Products & Solutions Sub-Business Unit has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Program Cost Control Principal Analyst to join the FCRP USAF Production team.

The USAF Production portfolio consists of domestic and international programs centered on production of the highly technical radar system utilized in F-15 jets and other applications (shipborne). This position is in a fast paced dynamic and challenging environment with an emphasis on skills in forecasting large data analysis and leadership communication. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading program financial requirements and have Financial Planning & Analysis responsibilities.

Success in this role will be dictated by ones ability to meet critical deadlines while managing conflicting priorities. The lead will need to analyze and understand data quickly in order to make informed business decisions. The candidate will need to exhibit financial independence possess high business acumen and exhibit robust analysis within the FCRP USAF Production portfolio. This role must be able to interpret and ensure implementation of Raytheon Financial Policies and Procedures to program personnel as part of their daily/weekly communications.

What You Will Do

Weekly monthly quarterly and annual routines including the following:
Earned Value reporting.
Baseline Planning and Development.
Estimates at Completion (EACs).
Risk and Opportunity development and tracking.
External report development.
Financial forecasting and cash management.
FP&A responsibilities: Short Range Outlook (SRO) Annual Operation Plan (AOP) and Long Range Strategic Planning.
Ad hoc analysis.
You will also support various customer and senior management level meetings.
You will be the lead analyst of multiple programs.

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a university degree in Finance Accounting Economics Business Mathematics or related field or equivalent experience in a finance discipline and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or a an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years finance experience.
Experience with financial systems (SAP APEX AO) or similar processes.
Experience in the use of Microsoft Office Products.
Excellent experience with forecasting and budgeting.
U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

Qualifications We Prefer

Excellent communication skills (written/verbal) and ability to communicate effectively to various stake holders and senior leadership.
Ability to perform independently and in team environments
Earned value Management knowledge (SPI/CPI/TCPI/IEAC/VAR)
Experience in interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Contracts Operations Engineering Supply Chain Management etc.) in program production.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team environment and lead teams to success.
Knowledge of Financial Planning and Analysis concepts related systems and processes.
Strong ability to self-manage / prioritize workload.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.

The salary range for this role is 95500 USD - 181700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
