As a Program Team Member you will help deliver engaging adventure-based programming while ensuring the safety skill development and positive experience of all campers. You will contribute to both the behind-the-scenes logistics and the on-the-water or high-ropes action helping create seamless inspiring and safe outdoor adventures.

HOW youll create Moments that Matter:

You will facilitate age-appropriate activities such as canoeing kayaking climbing high ropes and waterfront programs while modeling teamwork enthusiasm and safety for campers. You will maintain and care for program equipment follow risk management protocols and support the broader camp team in delivering smooth transitions events and daily operations. You will also assist with program documentation incident reporting and end-of-season reporting to ensure continuous program improvement and accountability.

Youll bring:

• Experience in leading outdoor recreation adventure-based or waterfront programming
• Experience working with children or youth in camp educational or recreational settings
• Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of safe outdoor practices risk management and proper equipment use
• Ability to adapt multitask and remain calm in high-energy outdoor environments
• Commitment to completing the Y Winnipeg Camp Stephens Training Pathway (paid training provided if needed)
• Required Certifications : National Lifeguard (NL) Pool Intermediate First Aid with CPR-C

• Compensation: $58.33 - $68.33 per day
