Job Summary

Performs cashier duties takes phone orders restocks shelves create balloon bouquets and wrap packages.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Demonstrates Competency in the Following Areas:

Professional Requirements:

• Records all transactions and handles all paperwork being processed to the accounting department.
• Performs inventory counts restocks shelves unpacks shipments makes deliveries and prepares orders for shipment.
• Conducts over the counter sales of merchandise.
• Assists manager in general housekeeping and maintenance of stockroom.
• Responsible for balancing cash register at the end of shift and reporting any shortages immediately.
• Maintains store operations in the absence of the manager.
• Takes phone orders from customers.
• Writes legibly.
• Channels communications to appropriate personnel.

1. Education/Regulatory Requirements:
   • High School Diploma or equivalent
   • Must be at least 18 years of age
2. Language Skills:
   • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
3. Skills:
   • Moderate to advanced computer and data entry skills.
4. Specific Age Groups Served:

5. Exposure Classifications:
   • Personnel Not Covered by the Standard: Jobs in which required tasks involve no greater exposure to blood body fluids or tissues would be encountered by a visitor. The normal work routine involves no exposure to blood body fluids or tissues and the worker can decline to perform tasks which involve a perceived risk without retribution.
