Overview
A healthcare organization is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to provide front- and back-office support. This role plays a key part in delivering quality patient care andmaintainingclinic efficiency.
Key Duties
- Room patients and prepare them for visits
- Answer phones and manage scheduling
- Measure and record patient vitals
- Perform venipuncture and phlebotomy
- Administer vaccines as needed
- Assistwith clinical workflows
- Collaborate with care teams
- Educate patients when appropriate
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year MA experience (excluding externship)
- Experience in Occupational Health is a plus
- EMR and phlebotomy experiencerequired
- Strong attention to detail and patient focus
