Job Summary
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Proofreader to join our team at MARBLELIFE. As the leader in surface restoration and maintenance services we take pride in our scientific approach to providing superior quality service and products. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for spotting errors and inconsistencies to ensure our written materials are polished and error-free.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review and proofread written materials for spelling grammar punctuation and style errors
- Ensure consistency in formatting style and tone across all written materials
- Verify facts and check references to ensure accuracy of information
- Collaborate with writers editors and designers to make necessary corrections
- Maintain and update style guides to ensure consistency in language usage
- Flag any potential legal or ethical issues in the written content
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Proofreader or in a similar role
- Exceptional command of the English language
- Strong understanding of grammar punctuation and spelling rules
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
- Attention to detail and excellent time management skills
Desired Experience:
- Experience working in a scientific or technical field
- Familiarity with style guides such as AP MLA or Chicago Manual of Style
- Previous experience in surface care maintenance or related industries
Salary & Benefits:
- Minimum Salary: $105000 per year
- Maximum Salary: $115000 per year
