Job Summary

ACT Aerospace is seeking a Bid and Proposal Analyst to join our Business Development team. This individual will have extensive experience with RFP processes and hands-on generation of technical proposals preferably within the Commercial General Aviation or DOD space. The position will support our sales organization reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer.

Responsibilities
Works on all aspects of proposal development (RFP/RFI) for strategic or high-value sales opportunities.

Ability to create winning proposals in a fast-moving environment with tight deadlines.
Applies proposal process methodology and best practices.
Maintains compliance with requirements internal controls external regulations (e.g. procurement process) and sales methodology.
Coordinates with multiple departments including but not limited to BD Engineering Operations etc. to obtain necessary content for proposal.
Creates manages and maintains proposal delivery schedule proposal design and executes quality control functions.
Responsible for all daily proposal management activities including development of work plans schedules and milestones.
Facilitates development of all written components of the proposal.
Manage output from proposal resources to ensure proposal structure complies with RFP requirements.
Edits language provided by other members of pursuit team as needed for completeness and clarity.
Contributes to the improvement of proposal Library and resources.

Requirements

Ability to take ownership of the entire proposal process from receipt of the RFP to the final output.
Strong project management skills.
Strong proposal design skills to communicate information with impact.
Ability to juggle simultaneous bids at various stages and with various complexities.
Ability to manage proposal materials from all members of capture team including sales consultants subject matter experts solution architects etc.
Ability to understand customer RFP requirements and ensure they are addressed in proposal.

Preferred Qualifications

College degree or equivalent experience with Mechanical Engineering Finance/Accounting or a similar quantitative bias.
Experienced in Microsoft Excel.
Must be extremely responsive and be able to meet tight deadlines.
