As a member of our team you will support environmental assessment and cleanup on industrial/commercial project sites. Through your work you will be integrated into a thriving team environment and play a key role in advancing projects developing client relationships and fostering employee growth.
This full-time position requires approximately 40-45 hours per week and involves a blend of project support strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities. If you thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment this opportunity is ideal for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and guide site remediation strategies bringing petroleum sites to closure.
- Interact with various state agencies to develop favorable risk-based remediation goals.
- Scope cost plan schedule execute and report for assigned projects.
- Manage subcontractors prepare purchase orders and approve vendor invoices.
- Manage staff and assign resources to complete project tasks on budget and within the schedule.
- Develop work plans and health & safety plans.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies subcontractors and clients to execute decommissioning projects ecological restoration site investigation and remediation projects.
- Oversee and perform field investigations that include multi-media sampling (air water soil) and infrastructure decommissioning planning.
- Manage and evaluate data for regulatory compliance with local state and federal standards.
- Evaluate remedial alternatives for soil groundwater sediment and soil vapor impacts.
- Oversee and perform remedial activities for impacted soil (excavation in-situ treatment etc.) groundwater (extraction in-situ treatment etc.) and vapor (soil vapor extraction system engineering controls etc.).
- Prepare investigation summary remedy implementation performance monitoring and compliance reports.
Qualifications:
- BS degree in Geology or a related field.
- 5 years of relevant experience.
- GIT required PG preferred or obtain licensure within 1 year.
- Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients regulatory agencies and project teams.
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail accuracy and completeness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to conduct fieldwork in all weather conditions.
- Acceptable driving record and a strong commitment to safe operations.
- Strong organizational skills.
